Malevox’s first competition outing was a resounding success. We won the International Chorus Competition in Iabs 2019, singing I’ll Forget You (arranged by David Wright) and Lose That Long Face (Kevin Keller’s). Our score of 82.3% beat Crystal Chords and Phoenix to first place.

On 9 June from 11am we’ll be showcasing several songs in the University of Birmingham’s all-day Song Festival. Also present will be several choirs from the region including the CBSO Chorus and the University of Birmingham Singers, introduced by a leading BBC introducer.
From Thursday 6 June we’ll be moving to our new rehearsal venue at Trefoil House, Brownsea Drive, Blucher Street, Birmingham B1 1QL.
Almost all Malevox members attended Bournemouth’s Babs convention on 24 to 29 May in some capacity.
