We are always open to welcome new members, so please do get in touch to arrange to visit us.
We do require prospective members to pass an audition, which is in three stages:
Stage one
- A voice-test to check your range
- Sing and learn a short few bars of music (a tag) by ear.
Stage two
- Sing (in quartet) your part to our audition song in the barbershop style
Stage three
- Sing (before the chorus) a song (in any style) of your choice
If you don’t pass an audition, you’ll be given helpful feedback. You may re-apply after a year if you fail the first audition, after six months if you fail the second and after a month if you fail the third.
