Rob Barber
A lifelong Barbershopper with over 38 years of experience as a performer, director, and coach. Rob has a rich heritage in the Barbershop community, beginning at age 12 with the Sheffield Men’s Barbershop Chorus and continuing through multiple national and international achievements.
Rob directed Grand Central Chorus to a National Gold Medal and won a National Quartet Gold Medal with the Likely Lads, who at the time were the youngest ever British Gold Medallists.
Rob is very proud to have been one of the co-founders of the National Barbershop Youth Chorus in 2004, a chorus he also directed for a number of years.
He is passionate about nurturing talent and pushing creative boundaries in vocal craft and performance.
